JourneyOfEnlightenment > Alexa at the Kimono fitting.
JourneyOfEnlightenment > It took two skilled Kimono masters a while to put on this fabulous Kimono. A lost art for most Japanese.
JourneyOfEnlightenment > Our hotel by the Kiso River, nick named the Japan Rhine, where we watched the cormorant fishing in the evening and had a very mild white water boating the next morning. This was taken from the top floor of the Inuyama castle, the oldest castle in Japan.
JourneyOfEnlightenment > The cormorants sensed the fish and started diving.
JourneyOfEnlightenment > The fire from burned wood logs attracts fish. The trainer handles 5 or 6 cormorants at the same time with a high degree of skill. Here he is taking the fish from one of the cormorants.
JourneyOfEnlightenment > There were 4 spectator boats watching the show.
JourneyOfEnlightenment > A soba chef is cutting the very thin, folded soba (buckwheat) dough to make soba noodle. Soba chef is the most popular career after retirement in Japan. It takes a minimum of one year in soba school to qualify.
JourneyOfEnlightenment > Nagoya castle.
JourneyOfEnlightenment > The trumpet playing robot in Toyota Museum. Amazingly good too.
